Burgers, Brats, & Brews 2018

Join Farmers Market of the Ozarks (FMO) on Oct. 12 from 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. at the market, located off Republic Road and Highway 60 on Nature Center Way for their annual fall fundraiser, Burgers, Brats, & Brews.

“Our vendors are donating for this event which means the menu is featuring some of the best food in the region,” said Market Manager Kali Dick. “Local spirits, root beer, & kombucha will be served by Springfield Brewing Company, Leaky Roof Meadery, and Spring Branch Kombucha. Music will be perfomed by National Park Radio.”

Tickets are limited to 250 and are on sale at LoveYourFarmer.com. General Admission is $50 and comes with dinner and 2 drinks. VIP Tickets are $75 and come with unlimited drinks. All proceeds will go back to the market to help the non-profit organization with market operations and programs. FMO depends on fundraising effots to be able to provide the 417 community an thriving, year-round market.

“We are so fortunate to have the community embrace our market like they have,” said Dick. “We want this to be a special night to celebrate our successes with our community and our vendors.”
Sponsors of the dinner include American National Insurance Company, Guarentee Bank, Sun Solar. Food sponsors include Springfield Brewing Company, Leaky Rood Meadery, Spring Branch Kombucha, Peak View Farm, Brittain Farm, Broken Wire Ranch, Dove Creek Wagyu, Red Top Oven, Pastabilities, New Horizons Hydroponics, and Millsap Farm.
The menu is an extensive collaboration of the diversity of local farmers market, but will of course be feature artisan burgers and brats supplied by your local farmers.
Farmers Market of the Ozarks is a non-profit organization that offers consumers a full-range of locally grown farm products from a 150 mile radius of Springfield. Items include: vegetables, fruits, pasta, meat, jams, jellies, salsa, eggs, cheeses, yogurt, baked goods, honey, artisan crafts and an assortment of concessions. FMO operates Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., year-round. Farmers Market of the Ozarks operates a vibrant farmers market that contributes to the success of local food growers and producers, strengthens the local food economy and serves as a community gathering place for the Ozarks region.
