There are a lot of friendly faces to be found around Farmers Market of the Ozarks. We want you to get to know these folks well – so read on to learn more about the people who help make FMO possible, and stop by to say hello the next time you visit!
Laura Gwin, from Springfield, Mo, has been with FMO from since the market’s opening in 2012. She began her farmers market journey as a Harvest on Wheels volunteer, and today is the Assistant Market Manager at FMO. She loves to volunteer with different local organizations around town, such as Harvest on Wheels and the Gilloiz Theater, visit thrift stores, and spend time with her dogs. Laura’s favorite market find is the FMO family!
Deven Colbert, from Springfield, Mo, has worked for FMO since 2014. His hobbies include playing video games, watching Netflix, YouTube, and wrestling ( according to Deven, the greatest sport ever!!!). His favorite farmers market find is cake by the slice from Jenna Cakes!
Sydnee Baldwin, from Pleasant Hope, Mo, has been part of the FMO team since January of 2015. This high school FFA member is passionate about local agriculture, and has her own business raising a flock of laying hens and selling the eggs. She loves to keep the market merchandise neatly organized and folded, and spends her spare time playing softball. Sydney’s favorite market find is the pizza from Firelight Pizza Company!
Daren Colbert, from Springfield, Mo, joined the Hub crew in July of 2015. He enjoys working out and lifting weights, making him some of the muscle on the team! Daren’s other hobbies include creative writing and making videos. His favorite market find are the soft pretzels from Albright Hippie Hillbilly Farm!
Dani Fritz, from Marshfield, Mo, is currently a senior at Truman State University, studying Anthropology and English, and has been with FMO since summer of 2015. Hailing from the Ozarks area, she has always strived to support her community and local farmers. After graduation she hopes to return to the area and continue supporting local business. Her favorite market find is the Espresso Lip Balm from Sweet Girl Bath and Body!
