Farmers Market of the Ozarks combines farm fresh goodness, hand-crafted products and local eateries, all in one location that is easily accessible to the Ozarks community. Customers can shop for their weekly groceries, find unique gifts that are made from local artisans, enjoy musical talents of local artists and enjoy breakfast and lunch, all within the market’s laid back atmosphere.
FMO provides vendors from a 150-mile radius of Springfield, Mo., the opportunity to bring the best from the country to the city. Additionally, consumers have the ability to “Put a Face to Their Food” each week with a visit to the market. In July 2013, FMO became the first farmers market in the region to be housed in a year-round pavilion, inside the Farmers Park Development. The pavilion serves as an open air facility when the weather is pleasant, with fans and a kitchen. During the winter months the pavilion is furnished with roll down doors and radiant heat inside, making the market a year-round facility. Our market accepts SNAP, debit and credit cards. To use these forms of payment, please go to the Market Info Hub and our market management will swipe your card on our wireless machine and give you tokens that you can spend with any of our vendors just like cash. |

Our Partners
supplementation
Our goal at Farmers Market of the Ozarks is to provide consumers the opportunity to purchase a wide array of farm foods from their local producers and “put a face to their food.” To ensure the market has the products that you are looking for we offer producers the opportunity to supplement products from other local farmers within the 150-mile radius of the market.
The Market Manager may make exceptions to the distance limitations after conference with and approval from the board. Exceptions will be approved only when items are not available locally to fill demand, and the board believes the exception will benefit the market as a whole. All products not grown by the vendor (but grown by another local farmer), must be clearly identified as such at market. Vendors wishing to supplement must first be accepted into the market through the application process and the board must deem if allowing the supplementation will be for the betterment of the market and community. You will know if a product is supplemented by a sign at the vendor’s stall that will read: “Supplemented Products.” Feel free to talk with each of our farmers about the products on their tables that are supplemented, where are they from and variety specifics. We want to provide you with as much information as possible about the products found at FMO. |
